Succulent plants are plants that have a more than normally thickened and fleshy leaf, and, as the name itself implies, may store water in its various structures, leaves or stems. Although they are not intended for harsh climates, today they are planted in temperate climates if placed in areas that look south and are near walls. There is no need to prune succulents, and they, obviously, need very little water.
